Congratulations to the wrestlers on their first place finish at the Rudyard “Bridge Brawl”. The team finished with 117 team points edging out Newberry, Rudyard, Manistique, and St. Ignace on the day. Scoring 27 teams points and finishing 5-0 on the day was Tim Steward. Three other cougars added 12 points each in Marcos Aleman, Ali Rittenger, and Mark Torongo. The wrestlers will be in action tomorrow night at Manistique.

Santa Claus will be here after the program. As a fundraiser for our library, students and their siblings will be able to get their picture taken with Santa for $5.00. He will also be handing out bags of candy.
The book fair will be open before and after the Christmas Program and is open daily during school until Friday, December 17th.
Mrs. Bixby's Leading and Learning class is holding a can drive. Students, staff and the public are welcome to bring in non-parishable food items. There are boxes placed in each classroom. Items can be brought in until Monday, December 20th. The class with the most items will get an ice cream party. So far the class with the most items is the 8th grade with only 4 items. Mark led the team with four pins for victories and propelled his team to a 29-18 victory over the Gwinn Modeltowners in dual action. Other Superior Central Cougars with wins on the day include Tim Steward who was also 4-1, and Ali Rittenger notched her second varsity victory for the new season.
