Fundraiser pickup- If you sold in the last fundraiser, the pickup will be Wednesday and Thursday, March 16th & 17th. You may pick up your orders during the school day and afterschool until 4 pm each day. For questions, see Mrs. Otten or Mr. Trivette. Welcome to Chorus with Mrs. Otten! We are the West Rowan Soaring Voices! Special thanks to the Livingstone Gospel Choir for joining us in our last concert! It was a great celebration of African-American Spirituals and Gospel Music. Chorus 2/Treble Ensemble auditions begin Monday, March 14th. I will auditions students in West Block and Chorus class time. Coming up- 4/14/11 All-County Chorus Concert East Rowan High School 7 PM 4/15-4/17 Chorus and Band to Music Festival in Myrtle Beach. Watch for more info Concert attire- Ladies- white dress blouse, black dress pants, gauchos or skirts to the knees. Hose are not required, but if hose are worn, they must be nude or black. No fishnet stockings. Black dress shoes- no flip flops. If belts or socks are worn, they must black. No denim or tank tops. Gentlemen- white long-sleeve button up dress shirt, tie, black dress pants, black belt, black socks, black dress shoes. Students that are not dressed according to the Choral dress code will not be allowed to participate in the concert. This will affect their semester grade as concerts are a test grade.
