MAY  NEWS

        Only 5 weeks left of school and we still have so much to learn and do. As the EOG's are fast approaching we need to be sure that our students are still continung to read daily at home and work just as hard as ever. Here are just several items to remember and instill with your child.
                             SCHOOL TIPS 
  •   Please be sure to have your child get a good nights sleep.
  •   Be sure that they eat a healthy breakfast. 
  •   Check your child's agenda everyday.
  •   Have your child read daily.
  •   Talk to your child about their day- find out what they are learning- it will amaze you.
  •    Encourage your child and let them know that you believe in them.     

  As for the rest of this month, we will be working on Mock
EOG's for Math and Reading. We will be working on bones and muscles in Science, remediation skills in Reading and Grammar. As for Math we will be reviewing and working on data graphing. We are officially through with Social Studies.

 

Here is the schedule for May:

May 5- Math Mock EOG

May 7- Reading Mock EOG/ Pep ralley

 

   WEEKLY REVIEW

As for this week we have been working extremely hard on remediation and preparing ourselves for the EOG"s. This week is National Teacher Appreciation week- thank you to all who have participated and made me feel appreciated. Also we are moving right along with our "BOOKWORM CHALLENGE." I am so proud of all of my students who took this challenge on. I am participating as well!!!

We will be having a pepralley on Friday at 1:30 in support of our EOG's coming up.
