Welcome to West Rowan Middle School! The first quarter of the academic school year is drawing to a close. Next week marks the beginning of the second quarter, try outs for winter sports, the Wellness Clinic, and a variety of activities for our students and staff. With all the important extra curricular events, however, we continue to focus on ensuring academic success for all our students. We are proud of the most recent addition to our trophy case--a plaque awarded by the Rowan Salisbury School Board for achieving the status of high growth with last year's End of Grade tests. In addition, our school succeeding in making adequate yearly progress (AYP) for the first time and came within half a percentage point of being named a School of Distinction.
