P. A. C. S. S. Promoting Academics through Communications & Social Skills Welcome to the schoolnotes page for the PACSS class at Bostian Elementary School. This program serves 3rd -5th graders in all academic areas with an emphasis in communication and social skills throughout the curriculum. The PACSS class is currently studying animal groups, their habitats and adaptations for survival. Many of our reading selections pertain to these topics also. Each Wednesday we do a life skills lesson. For the month on November we will be discussing nutrition during this time. We continue to participate in the swimming program at the Hurley YMCA. We leave Bostian at 8:45 and return at 10:45 on these days. The following is a list of the dates left for this year: Nov. 18, Dec. 9, Jan. 6 & 20, Feb. 3 & 17, Mar. 3, 17 & 31, Apr. 21, May 5. |
