P. A. C. S. S. Promoting Academics through Communications & Social Skills Welcome to the schoolnotes page for the PACSS class at Bostian Elementary School. This program serves 3rd -5th graders in all academic areas with an emphasis in communication and social skills throughout the curriculum. During the month of February the PACSS class will be studying electricity and magnetism. Some of our reading selections will pertain to character study and some of the children will also be writing about their favorite character from a book. Each Wednesday we do a life skills lesson. During this time the students will be studying dental hygiene. We continue to participate in the swimming program at the Hurley YMCA. We leave Bostian at 8:45 and return at 10:45 on these days. The following is a list of the dates left for this year: Feb. 17, Mar. 3, 17 & 31, Apr. 21, May 5. Special Olympics: Tuesday, March 23rd at WRHS. The marvelous richness of human experience would lose something of rewarding joy if there were no limitations to overcome. ~Helen Keller |
