News You Can Use:

Please check you child's folder every night.  Every Monday your child will receive an updated newsletter, homework sheet, and will have test papers to return.  This is our communication tool.  I hope you will find the importance in it.

If you send money to the school, please label it with your child's name and the purpose of it.

When you arrive on campus, please go by the office and get a visitor's pass before coming to the room.

Easter Holiday will be April 6-9th.  NO SCHOOL! 

May 3rd Baxterville Talent Showcase at 6pm.

MCT2 Pep Rally/Fun Day will be May 11th from 8-2:30.

K-2 Awards ceremony will be May 18th at 12:15.  More information will be sent home soon.

Reading:  This week we will be reading the story A Friend for Little Bear.  Please read with your child every night for at least 20 minutes.  It is not too late to make reading a part of your nightly routine.  READERS ARE LEADERS!!!

Phonics:  This week we will be working on lessons 116-120 in our Saxon Phonics program.

Math:  We will continue to on telling time.
