Welcome to China Grove! I am so excited for you to visit to our SchoolNotes page. We have successfully completed our first quarter of this school year. We raised about $670 for our PTA with our basketball game against China Grove Middle School. We will not talk about who "won" the game!! Our $1 costume day yielded $395 in profits for PTA and the students had a blast dressing up. 

The weeks of November 2 thru the 13th are our report card conference weeks. Please be sure to sign up with your child's teacher to discuss their progress. T shirts and sweatshirts will be available for sale during these two weeks as well. T shirt prices begin at $10 and run to $29 for XXL hooded sweatshirts. 

Please visit the Book Fair!! The Book Fair runs from 11/9 until 11/13. The hours are from 8:00 until 3:00 daily and family night will be from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm on 11/12. Remember that books make wonderful Christmas gifts! Please encourage your child and other children to read by making a purchase from the Book Fair. 

Report cards will be distributed on Tuesday, November 10. 

School will be closed on Wednesday, November 11 in celebration of Veteran's Day. Please take a moment to thank a Veteran for their service to this country. 

We will host an ice cream social on Thursday, November 12 at 3:00. This is for any interested parents and their children to come and enjoy some fellowship, learn more about reading, and enjoy ice cream. All are welcome. Please check your child's agenda for more information about this event. 

Our students will celebrate their academic successes on Friday, November 13. We will have our Honor Roll treat on this day at 2:30. Students will celebrate by enjoying ice cream. Please come and join your child in this celebration!

On November 17, Santa will be here to do Holiday pictures. Students may have pictures made with or without Santa. 

November 19 is our Chick Fil A Night from 5:00 until 7:00 in Salisbury. Remember, we get 10% of what is sold during that time if you mention China Grove Elementary.

November 20 is another PTA dollar day. Smencils will be available for $1.00. 

November 24 will be another early release day for staff development. We will release at 12:30 again. Please remember that the China Grove/Landis parade is also that day. 

November 25-29 will be the Thanksgiving holiday. 

November is going to be quite a busy month. Thank you for visiting.
