Math:

Monday: Daily Homework Practice # 56 (odds only)

Tuesday: Daily Homework Practice # 57

Wednesday: We will complete a mid chapter review in class

Thursday: Daily Homework Practice #58

Just a reminder: The students need 500 firstinmath points this marking period. The period ends Jan. 16. Thanks to all those who worked over Christmas vacation. Bonus points were awarded.

English:

We will be finishing a unit on verbs. Diagramming of sentences will be included to help the students become more familiar with the parts of a sentence. This week will include linking verbs and present, past, and past participle forms. A quiz on verbs will be given on January 9, 2009. It will cover pages 168-193. Wednesday and Thursday will be review days.

Social Studies:

 We will be doing a unit on the East South Central States. A quiz on map location and capitals will be on January 12, 2009.
