For the week of 10/12/09-10/16/09

Beginning Art (periods 1,3,5,6)

We will begin with the 7 basic elements of art which are line, form, color, value, texture, shape, and space. This week we are focusing on line and texture.

This week we will continue working on our mosaics. Final projects are due on Friday 10/16/09.

ADVANCED ART (periods 2,4)

Continue working on Pop art projects. We will be painting until Wednesday when final projects are due at the end of class. Thursday we will begin a unit on pointillism and create out own pointillism landscapes using oil pastel.
