THE 2009-2010 SCHOOL YEAR
PERIODS 1, 3 & 4 COLLEGE ALGEBRA HONORS The areas of study include real and complex numbers; polynomial, exponential, logarithmic and trigonometric functions and their composition; system of equations; conics; limits and continuity; polar and parametric equations; some probability and statistics. A TI-84 or TI-Nspire graphing calculator is required. Prerequisite: Algebra 2/Trig H or Trig Analytic Geometry. PERIOD 2 A.P.CALCULUS AB This first course in calculus is designed for students who have successfully completed College Algebra Honors. The course will cover functions, limits, the derivative and its applications, the definite and indefinite integral and its application. A TI-84 or TI-Nspire or TI-Nspire CAS graphing calculator is required. |
