Muchisimas gracias to all who contributed to the collection for the children of Guatemala.  Josh has gone and returned and we are now waiting for him to share some of his experiences with us through a slide show.

The students have recently read (in Spanish) about three places in Ecuador to visit and we have talked about the places visited on the Washington D.C. trip.  Now the students are researching to fins 10 spots which they would be interested in visiting in a Spanish speaking country or region.  In class they began this with step by step instructions of websites to check.  Navigating the websites was a challenge for many. Using reading strategies while navigating the websites and information has been stressed to the students. 

This week we are beginging to study e to ie stem changing (shoe) verbs and words for getting ready and making plans.
