"Upon our children - how they are taught - rests the fate - or fortune - of tomorrow's world". - B.C. Forbes

November 17, 2009

Dear Parents,

I am very proud to announce the student of the month for November. The theme this month is kindness and this student has demonstrated his kindness not just to his teachers, but to his classmates as well; he is Christopher G. I would also like to congratulate our writer of the month, Alexander P. His work is available to be seen on the bulletin board next to the media center. As you can see I have upgraded my schoolnotes account. You can now go to: http://new.schoolnotes.com/ulloa/
Please remember that we are having our annual food drive to collect items to make a delicious Thanksgiving dinner. We will be providing baskets for eligible KLE students and "extra" items will be donated to help the homeless. Instead of collecting any non-perishables the school is asking each grade level to be responsible for collecting something specific. Our 1st Grade will be collecting Pie Shells (non-perishable) as we have no way of keeping refrigerated items. Thank you for all your support.
