Yesterday afternoon the class had a movie and popcorn reward for receiving ten compliments.  After ten compliments they get to pick a reward. They picked a movie. They receive compliments from other teachers and myself.  This is for the whole class working together.  I was very proud of them and they already have received 2 compliments towards their next reward.  Great job 1-2!!

Field trip permission slips were sent home this week.  Our trip isn't until March but we needed to get everything in before thanksgiving to reserve our space.  Please send these in as soon as you can.

Don't forget to send in your book-it lists and your scholastic book orders. I received two books for our classroom library from the orders placed last month.  Thank you!!

Looking ahead to the week after Thanksgiving I will be sending home a conference sign up sheet.  Conferences are held on Wednesday, December 9th.

We are still waiting for one more book.  It is a math practice book.  Hopefully, it will be arriving soon.

Please continue to practice math facts with your child and to read on a daily basis.  I am very pleased at how well the class is doing this year.  Thank you for all of your support.
