November 2-6

This week we will study the letter Cc and the sound it makes. We will continue to practice blending words with short a in the middle. If I say /c/ /a/ /t/, your child should be able to blend the word together and say cat. The words we, my and like have been added to your child's ringcards. Please study them each night.

In Math, we will work on numbers 0-20. We will count backwards from 10 as well. Students will learn to recognize the number, write it, and count sets of that quantity.

We will have a cookie celebration Thursday. We will try several kinds of cookies and make a graph showing which kind we like the most. We will also drink Capri suns.
