Laura Chandler offers great resources for literacy instruction found in The Literacy File Cabinet. 3. Literacy Centers: 1. Florida Center for Reading Research -these links provide instructions on creating centers for vocabulary,fluency, phonics, phonemic awareness, and comprehension. There arecomplete activities and blacklines for each center with very little preparation. A guide is also available on the site. 2. Our School Family offers Pre-K to 2nd Grade Literacy Centers multi-level and appeal to all different learning styles and modes. 3. Ms. Rossbec has great resources for Guided Reading and Literacy Stations 4. Mrs. Gallagher is a second grade teacher with a massive literacy center page. It has several useful ideas, as well as recommended books, downloads, and answers to the most frequently asked questions she has received regarding her centers. 5. In The Teachers Room, Mrs. Ballingall shares information regarding her literacy centers in her classroom. She provides links to ABC Teach for each center in order to download the designated center sign as well as pictures and titles of literacy center books she uses. 6.
