School Attendance

Regular school attendance is essential to a students educational success. "Regular attendance is necessary if students are to receive adequate guidance through their class work and benefit from the discussions. All students are expected to attend classes for the entire day every day that school is in session. The progress of a student at school depends greatly on the punctuality and regularity of attendance."  Code of Conduct pages 54-58

Substance Abuse Policy

This policy shall apply to all students before, during, and after school hours at school, or at any school sponsored event.  Code of Conduct pages 46-50   

"Bullying and Harassment"

             What you should know?           

Bulling or harassing behavior is any pattern of gestures or written,electronic, or verbal communications, or any physical act or any threatening communication that take place on school property, at any school sponsored function, or on a school bus.  

If you have been bullied, harassed or have witnessed this type of behavior please inform a teacher, counselor, and/or administrator immediately. All children deserve the opportunity to reach their full potential without any interruption.

"Good Beginnings"

Good Beginning classes will be offered to pregnant/parenting teens at North Rowan High School.  Classes will also be open to teen fathers.
