FORT Middle School ORCHESTRA

 Welcome to the FMS Orchestra page! Our annual End of the Year Concert is on May 5, 2011. Students should arrive  by 5:50 in order to set up, get in uniform and have a sound check.

Congratulations to the following students for their participation in the 2011  Large Group Performance Evaluation on March 9. LGPE was held at Hardaway High School in the auditorium. Congratulations to the following who participated:  Tyra Trussell, Christian Serrano and Nathaniel Hobley. We are very proud of you! 

On March 25 & 26 the annual All-District Honor Orchestra (ADHO) took place at Hardaway HS. Our students worked with an outstanding conductor from the Atlanta area where they learned a great deal about performing. Congratulations to Tyra Trussell, Nathaniel Hobley and Tylan Quinn for being selected to participate and congratulations on your outstanding performance. You have made Fort MS very proud of you!

I would like to encourage the Orchestra students to increase their growth by participating in a summer music camp. Mrs. Clark will be giving you more information very soon!
