Grade 8 The UltraKey Program will be used throughout the school year to improve students' typing skills. Students have worked their way through the Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point Applications for the new 2010 version. Students are now creating a Movie Maker Project in the Computer Lab. They are working in cooperation with their ELA Teacher. Mrs. Heavens, Mrs. McDonald and Miss Travaglini have asked their students to choose a topic from the Billy Joel song We Didn't Start The Fire. Students are expected to research the topic fully and know enough about their topic to then, create a movie that would instruct their peers about the importance of this person, event, place, movie or television show.
