  • ESSAY (WRITING PROMPT) DUE ON NOVEMBER 30TH
  •  ESSAY NEEDS TO BE HAND WRITTEN-CHECK MECHANICS,USAGE, AND GRAMMAR!
  • NOVELS DUE ON DECEMBER 10TH- MUST BE HISTORICAL FICTION OR BIOGRAPHY

Monday:  review guidelines and check progress on writing prompt.

Tuesday:  The People Could Fly by Virginia Hamilton-(reading skills and  

                  strategies)

 

School is closed Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday for Thanksgiving holiday.


November 30th-December 18th

  • collect and discuss writing prompts
  • check progress of reading assignment (historical fiction)
  • Introduction and reading of play- Diary of Anne Frank
  • Vocabulary sentences and quizzes will be taken from the words learned from the play, Diary of Anne Frank
  • voc. sentences will be due on Thursdays/quizzes on Friday
  • Poetry:  terms, examples, writings
