Welcome to Mrs. Lannon's 3rd grade web page.  In the month of January we will start Theme 4 in reading which will contain stories about animals and their habitats. Please help your children with the vocabulary. They should be able to define and use the words in a sentence. We are changing our testing format to coincide with that of the EOG. This will help your child become more familiar with the types of questions that they will see in May. Please review these tests with your child when they come home in the Thursday folders. The children are now expected to read 30 minutes each night for homework. Please remind your child to read and mark their log. For your child to improve their reading, they need to practice every day!  In Social Studies we will continue Unit 2 "Our Different Roles". In this until we will analyze roles in families, communities, and workplaces. Favorite Links
