Welcome to Mrs. Lannon's 3rd grade web page. ![]() In the month of May, we will continue to review the strategies to help us pass the EOG. Our brain is like an athlete's body, it has to be conditioned to be able to accomplish large tasks. We can't expect our students to be able to take a reading test that lasts for 2 1/2 hours if they are only use to reading for 20-30 minutes per night. I am asking each of my parents to have your child read for an hour a night for the next 2 weeks. They need to build up their endurance. Like I keep telling my class, "Keep your eyes on the prize". The prize is obviously scoring a 3 or 4 on the EOG. Also discuss with your child the importance of getting plenty of rest, eating a good breakfast, and trying their best. Please check the calendar for the test dates and other important events coming up soon. The excitement is growing and the children have been taught all the strategies they need to pass this test. Now is the time for them to "learn it, know it, & show it!" Remember you are a Test Taking Superstar! ![]() Favorite Links
