Greetings! It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to Salisbury High School for the 2009-2010 school year.  I hope that as you read the information below it serves as an educational tool to assist in understanding our expectations at Salisbury High School.

Vision

 Salisbury High School will tailor the curriculum and instruction to our student population through interactive and challenging learning experiences that are enhanced by technology. Our graduates will be prepared to productively participate in an ever-changing society.

Mission

Salisbury High School, with support of our stakeholders, will provide challenging educational experiences, enriched cultural  activities, supportive social activities and opportunities for physical/athletic participation, all in a safe and orderly environment.

We Believe

  • Education will assist students in becoming informed decision makers and enlightened problem solvers.
  • Education is the foundation for adaptation in an ever-changing society.
  • In the use of pertinent data to identify the needs and abilities of individual learners and use the information to develop programs to meet their needs.
  • In offering a varied curriculum that is student-centered and inquiry-based.
