Welcome to TELS! Theschool year has gotten off to a great start! The children are having fun incomputer lab while learning new skills. Here is what we have been learning: Pre-K 4's Welcome, Pre-K 4's to the TELS Lab! We have been playing educational games, and they are doing quite well. Here is the link so that you can play at home, too.
We have been reviewing our beginning sounds while practicing clicking and dragging. We have learned how to go online, and open and close programs. Here are some websites that you can use at home to help your child: www.pbskids.org www.juicyjuice.com GradeOne
The children have been learnign the keyboard, and have been practicing typing using the home row keys. I have encouraged them to practice these skills at home. Here are some websites we have been using in the lab. Please encourage yourchild to practice his/her skills using these sites. GradeTwo Our new project is to compose a friendly letter in Microsoft Word. The children are also continuing to practice their keyboarding skills.
