What We Are Learning
Math- We have just finished our unit on Addition and Estimating Sums! I am super proud of all of my students! Keep practicing with them at home. Remember : 5 or more raise the score 4 or less give it a rest! We will be starting on Subtracting and Estimating Differences for the next two weeks. Please practice subtraction facts with your child nightly. This will help with their success in subtraction. ![]() Science- We have been working hard with our Soil unit. Students know what a compost pile is and why it is important. They should also know the layers and types of soil. *We are still in need of soil from different states! We have soil from 25 different states. We are still in need of samples from the western and mid western states. ![]() Writing-We are working on Focus and Organization Skills. Reading and Social Studies Click on the link below to go to Mrs. Reece's webpage. ![]() Nightly Homework: Math homework varies nightly. Most days there will be a sheet or a math page to complete. Students write down homework everyday before we leave in the afternoon and are reminded to take home the appropriate materials to complete the work.
