What We Are Learning
Math- We have just finished our unit on Addition and Estimating Sums! I am super proud of all of my students! Keep practicing with them at home. Remember : 5 or more raise the score 4 or less give it a rest! We are still working on Subtraction with regrouping and going across zeros. Please practice subtraction facts with your child nightly. This will help with their success in subtraction. We will begin patterns this week and start working on multiplication! ![]() Science- We have been working hard with our Soil unit. Students know what a compost pile is and why it is important. They should also know the layers and types of soil. We are now working on our Plant Unit! ![]() Writing-We are working on Focus and Organization Skills. Reading and Social Studies Click on the link below to go to Mrs. Reece's webpage. ![]() Nightly Homework: Math homework varies nightly. Most days there will be a sheet or a math page to complete. Students write down homework everyday before we leave in the afternoon and are reminded to take home the appropriate materials to complete the work.
