We have been doing a great job at learning about bus and school safety.
We have also be graphing in Math. We have graphed, "How did you get to school?" and "How old are you?"
If your child cannot tie his/her shoes, it would be very helpful if you could help him/her practice at home. Untied shoes can cause accidents, and tying shoes too often takes away from instructional time. Putting a double knot in the shoe laces in the morning also helps.
Please do not sent umbrellas and backpacks with wheels to school. Umbrellas and backpacks with wheels can cause a lot of disruption for Kindergarteners.
Don't forget that the night of September 8th is Curriculum night. Please come and visit the Kindergarten building with your child and see was wonderful work they have been doing. More information will be coming home in the near future.
Our superstars of the week are: Dulce Sandoval and Parsa Mirlohi Claire Jenkins and Michael Crowe
HAPPY BIRTHDAY also to some September birthdays: Derek Elliott Joshua Flynn
Thank you for all the snacks and support you have given us these past few weeks. We are still in need of parents that could give some time to help copy and sort paper or enter children's names into our computers.
Just let us know if you can help.
