March Madness Poetry Tournament soldiers on. Students can check their performance date on the calendars posted around the room next to the bracket for their class. This activity continues until April 6.

Thursday, March 11--Notecards due
Friday, March 12--Outline and Works Cited due
CHANGE IN CALENDAR: OUTLINE AND WORKS CITED DUE DATE MOVED TO MONDAY, MARCH 15. STUDENTS WHO TURN IN OUTLINES/WORKS CITED ON FRIDAY, THE ORIGINAL DUE DATE, WILL RECEIVE 10 POINTS EXTRA CREDIT.

Monday, March 15--Outline, Works Cited and Rough draft due
Tuesday, March 16--Dinner Party. Student comes to class impersonating an important person in their field of study.

Week of March 22 - 26 due dates:
Monday, March 22--Public Speaking Project due (Testimonial TV Ad, The Evening News, Infomercial, or Fashion Show)
Thursday, March 25--Final Draft of research paper due for extra credit
Friday, March 26--Movie Trailer due
Final Draft of research paper due

Final Draft of Research paper can be turned in after Spring Break on April 1 for 10% loss of grade earned due to lateness. This assignment is worth 100 points, a huge chunk of the 4th quarter grade, and students must turn in this paper to get an A or B for the quarter.
