Novel List May 17-21:

Animal Farm by George Orwell (all classes) Parents are encouraged to get their child a copy of this book from the library, or provide internet access during this week to their children during homework time. The school only has enough copies for a class set. The book is short enough (80 pages) to read in class. Mrs. Welter, a parent, was nice enough to scope out some extra copies in the used bookstore next to Trader Joes on Decatur and Oakey. Also, all public libraries have multiple copies of this book. Ask the reference librarian for the classics section--these are large numbers of uncatalogued paperbacks available for checkout.
