November 9th-13th

Monday: Verb Test Study Guide and Extra Practice Packet sent home today. Most of Chapters 3 and 5 in the grammar book will be on the test!Test is on Friday and covers the following topics:

Complete and Simple Subjects and Predicates

Prepositional Phrases

Action Verbs

Direct Objects

Indirect Objects

Linking Verbs

Predicate Nominatives

Predicate Adjectives

No homework this week.  We covered chapters 3-5 in the grammar book through lessons that students created!  Test next week on November 13th.

October 26th- October 30th

Monday - Thursday- No homework

Friday- Practice teaching your lesson for Monday.  If you need to complete handouts and/or worksheets, please do so over the weekend and have enough copies for your class period.

Report Card Envelopes due back Wednesday.

If you need a pass to finish your narrative, please get one during class.  I am able to stay Wednesday until 4:45 pm.

October 19th- 23

Prepositional Phrase Quiz Friday- You will need to be able to identify the following on the quiz: complete and simple subject; complete and simple predicate, prepositional phrase and the type of prepositional phrase (adjective of adverb)

Tuesday: Adjective Phrases

Wednesday: Adverb Phrases

Thursday: Review for quiz: Chapter 4 pages 77- 88 in grammar book.  You may use the online version for extra practice.
