Welcome to St. Margaret Mary A-STEP!

I'm looking forward to a fun and exciting 2011-2012 in our after school program. We welcome a large group of k's and 1st graders.

Attached below is a price list and also a Family Information Sheet. It would be so helpful to our staff if the form could be printed, filled in and returned on the first day of school. Due to the large number of new students, it will be difficult for me to contact every parent, so I ask that if you have any questions please call the A-STEP phone...717-805-1247. I will check the messages and return your call. All families will receive a payment booklet.

For all students 1st to 6th A-STEP will be available on the first day of school. Students will be called from homeroom to the cafeteria at the end of the day. K's will start the day after Labor Day. 

This year, other than outdoor play and snack, the k's and 1's will have indoor activities in Mrs. B.'s room K-1. Children in 2 to 6 will be with staff teachers in their rooms. The daily staff will also increase.

A typical day will be as follows:

3 - 3:20   Attendance and bathroom

3:20 - 4   Outdoor/Indoor free play

4 - 4:20     SNACK

4:20-5:30       K's/1's  Playtime in Room K-1 or Gym

      2nd/6th  Homework / Activities /Play /Gym

5:30 All pick-up at or prior to this time.  $1.00/hr after this time

A-STEP will be available every school day. If there is ever an early St.M.M. dismissal A-STEP will not be available. If the weather turns bad (i.e. snow, ice, etc.) Please be considerate of the commuting teachers and pick up your children as soon as you can.
