October Activities:

 

Slate of Officers to run for office set

Service Project:  Halloween goodie bags for BINGO

 

November Activities:

 

The St. Joseph School Student Government held elections on Wednesday, November 4th.  Congratulations to all who ran in this election!  The following positions were filled:

 

          President:                     Jake M.

          Vice-President:            Jim L.

          Treasurer:                     Stephanie P.

          Secretary:                      Reaghan R.

          Grade 8 Class Reps:     Ryan D. & Troy V.

          Grade 7 Class Reps:     Megan C. & Kieran R. 

          Grade 6 Class Reps:      Jillian M. & Michael L.

 

 

  •  Middle School Dance 11/6 for grades 6, 7, and 8.
  •  Newly elected officers served veterans during Veteran’s Day luncheon on Tuesday, 11/10.
  •   Jeans & Sneakers collection (11/13) for Sister Pauline’s mission:  Propagation of the Faith -- $139.00
  •   Service Project 11/17:  Assemble Thanksgiving placemats for residents of the Ulster County Infirmary at Golden Hill.

 December Activities: 

  • Service Project:  Christmas cards for Soldiers and Military Families
  • Hat/Scarf/Mitten Collection for Local Needy Children
  • Cookie bake for BINGO Christmas celebration 12/17 

  • Jeans & Sneakers on Friday, 12/18 to benefit the Shriners Children's Hospital -- $131.00

 January Activities:

 

·       Middle School Dance 1/8 with DJ Tom

·       Service Project:  Valentines for Veterans 

·       Jeans & Sneakers on Friday, 1/29 for Queen's Galley Soup Kitchen - $145.00

 

February Activities:

 

·        Service Project:  Valentine Goodie bags for BINGO 

·       Jeans & Sneakers on Friday, 2/12 for the American Heart Association 

·       Lenten food collection beginning Ash Wednesday 

 

March Activities:

 

·       Service Project:  Lenten Prayers to the Sisters of St. Ursula at Linwood 

·       Jeans & Sneakers on Friday, 3/26 for a local animal shelter

·       "Snack" collection for Kingston homeless children

 

 April Activities: 

  • Service Project:  Earth Day clean up of St. Joseph School property.
  • Jeans & Sneakers on Friday, 4/16 to benefit Birthright of Ulster County.

May Activities:

  • "Bring a Friend" Dance 5/7
  • Baby Item Collection to benefit Family of Woodstock
  • Jeans & Sneakers to benefit Good Counsel Homes in Poughkeepsie
