Precious Parents,

Love is an action!!  Our wonderful room mothers and their faithful helpers have transformed the lobby of our school into a Gingerbread Wonderland.  Hard work and organization by our parents empowered our children to create and succeed; "when you make it with your hands, it comes from your heart."  These carefully handcrafted houses, created with their "buddies," will be a beautiful addition to your home after the Christmas program on December 17.

Kudos to our generous families for our successful Sub for Santa program.  A miracle will transpire on Christmas morning when our chosen family, with 5 children, will awaken to a room full of needed and wished for gifts and food.  Again, love is an action and the first grade community are God's lovers, being His arms outreaching to embrace and comfort the needy.

Last but not least, I want to thank my faithful parents who supported Troops 292 and 472's efforts to raise needed diapers for the March of Dimes Teddy Bear Program.  Your kindness touched my heart and that of my daughter, Mary Catherine, who is the director.  Your generosity and her steadfast effort will nurture and nourish hope for young mothers and provide basic supplies for the necessary needs of their infants.

May December be magical, heartfelt and memorable for our children.
