October 2011 Class News Thank you to all the parents who either contributed or helped out during our first grade Bake sale. I would also like to remind all parents to visit the Spelling word web-site in which students can practice their spelling words as well as take a practice test. The web-site is called I will be uploading the spelling and reading (high frequency) words every week. Once you have opened the spelling list then you go click on "Play Games". Make sure your child clicks on the "Younger Student" tab. The other games may be too hard for most students. School News Our school is planning a Hispanic Heritage Presentation for parents and family members on Friday, November 4th, 2011. Our class will be performing, so if you are able to come and see the show I definitely think you will enjoy it.
