Welcome to the school notes page of

Sharon Mault, Intervention Specialist

The Intervention Program is designed to assist parents and students to ensure a successful educational experience.   Students who attend school regularly, remain drug free and follow the rules tend to be the ones that are better prepared for high school.

Attendance is going to be one of the most important issue for Erwin Students.  Every day that school is in session, students need to be in school.  Parents, it is your responsibility to help make this happen.  Thank you for encouraging your child to be in school.  Reminding them that attendance is a law and not an option may help.

This is from the Parent Partners Newsletter.  I found it to be an interesting message.

We have a dream inside ourselves,

A gift to us at birth,

to guide us and protect us

On our journey on this earth.

We all have to find the courage

To find the peace you seek.

So live your dream and live your dream

Don't be afraid to try.

Just take your soul by the hand

And let your spirit fly.

                                                                       - Maureen Weider

The STARS (students teaching about real-life situations) program, the Life Savers/TRU Club will be starting up soon.

Please remember that attendance and school success go hand in hand.
