  Reading: 

We are reading the realistic fiction novel Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing. We will make connections with this piece of literature until finished.

Visual Thinking Strategy lessons will take place.

 

WRITING:

Journal EVERY night!

Three students a day will be chosen at random to share their journal entry.

Language:

Daily Language Week #20 Monday needs to be completed over the weekend.

Daily Language will be taught through the use of the Daily Language Review Week #20, English Textbook, and English Workbook, & Promethean Flip Charts.

 Proofreading Quiz will be Friday.

Analogies, Sequencing, Outline, & Possessive Nouns will be retaught and practiced.


Vocabulary:

Word of the Day Unit 5 will begin.

 

Math:

 Area, Perimeter, and Linear Measurments will be explored.

Test is Friday.

   Students will use a hands on activity to explore basic division facts 0 - 9. A timed test on these facts will be Thursday. Study the notecards we made in class every night.

 

 Science:

Students will complete a science task for the LEAP practice book (graded). 

 

Social Studies:

Government

 

The next capitals quiz will be labeling the SE, SW, and the Western regions of the United States. 

Students will be given an empty US map and will have to label the states and their capitals. This test is Thursday!

 

Daily Geography: Land Marks of the Grand Canyon- Monday needs to be completed over the weekend.
