What a season we had in track this year.  As a team, we definitely improved from last year, and I expect that we will only continue to get better as we get more seasons under our belt.  On behalf of all of the coaches, I want to thank all of the parents who drove to the meets and cheered on our Panther athletes.  I would also like to personally thank all of our assistant coaches for being so dedicated this season.  You all gave up a lot of your time during practices and meets, and I want you to know how appreciative and lucky we are to have you. 

   Finally, I want to thank you all you student athletes.  I thought we worked you guys pretty hard this year to prepare for the meets, and you seldom complained.  You understood that we were working towards a goal, and I am proud of all of you for the work you put in, as well as the results you achieved.

   Don't forget that we will hand out all of the medals earned at our three track meets this year, tomorrow night at our Track Party.  It begins at 7 PM, Tuesday, June 8 in the gym.  Besides handing out the medals, we will also get outside so you can race your parents in a few sprints.  Finally, we will come back inside when we're finished for ice cream in the cafeteria.  See you all there.  -Mr. G-
