May 25, 2012 Sixth Grade Homework: Memorial Day - School is closed on Monday. Math - Do worksheet. (Parents: You can have your child explain how she/he completed the page.) Reading - Read for one hour. (Parents: Even during this long weekend, please continue encouraging your child to read and talk to her/him about what they are reading AND about what YOU are reading.) 6th Grade Test Schedule for the Week of May 28: None Grammar Skills to be tested at the end of Theme 6: One area we will be working on is progressive forms of verbs. Examples of this can be found on Practice Book p. 158. Another area is connotation and denotation, which can be found on Practice Book p. 162. The chaperones for our field trip on May 31, are all those who volunteered and did not go on our last field trip. (Thanks to everyone who volunteered!)
