**Friday May 25:  Marian Prayer Service at 1:30 p.m.  Picture at 12:50 p.m.  Students will change into Communion/dressy clothing at noon.  Please be prompt! 
 
Remember to get your Crusade pledges!!  Deadline is May 25!!

  Remember:  1 -2 chapter books per MONTH or 1 picture book per week per month. 

Vocabulary:  Beginning Tuesday, May 22:  beyond, burrow, distant, lengthy, ranger, warning

Students should continue  AR quizzes this week. For May, 1-2 chapter books for the month or 1 picture book per week. AR quizzes are part of the reading grade!!!

Monday:  Read The Coatis of the Sonoran Desert, pages 330-331.

Tuesday:  Review vocabulary for Dig, Wait, Listen

Wednesday:  Reread Dig, Wait, Listen and write response to journal prompt in your reading journal.

Thursday:  Selection test and vocabulary test for Dig, Wait Listen is tomorrow.

Friday:  Read 10-15 minutes

Religion:  We began Chapter 22, "God Calls Us to Love and Serve." We will also pray  a decade of the Rosary daily.

Science:    Mammals, Reptiles, Birds, Insects and Spiders  --  vertebrates and invertebrates  This week we will discuss and compare amphibians.

English:   Irregular Verbs:  go, do, see, say, come, run, give, sing  --  past and present tense

Social Studies: American Heroes:  Discussed the qualities of a hero.  We chose an American hero or heroine and created an biographical trading card about him or her.
