    ™ Select a series of symbols about the person

    ™ Prepare a poster that presents these symbols and interweaves then in a pattern withinformation about the person. 

    ™ Divide your poster (use half of a poster board) into 8 equal squares.

    ™ In 4 of the squares place the symbols you have found that you believe relate toyour explorer.  Example – if you wereresearching Christopher Columbus, your symbols might include the Nina, thePinta and the Santa Maria. 

    ™ In the remaining 4 squares, include the following sections:

    ™ Biographical Information/Education

    ™ Greatest Achievement/Most Known For/Legacy

    ™ What the symbols represent

    ™ Quote from or about this person and what you think it means. If note available – aparagraph explaining what you admire most about this person.

    ™ Need 2 sources – in MLA format
