Welcome to Mrs. Schroppe's Web Page and welcome back to school!

Art Classes held in studio One Twelve:
Beginning Art (Green, Blue & Orange)
Intermediate Art (Pink & Purple)
Advanced Art - Studio/Portfolio (Yellow)
Graphic Design (Yellow)

Each class listed above has it's own web-page, please refer to your class page for lessons, assignments, materials etc.

Grading
You will be evaluated based on your individual and collaborative efforts in the following areas:
Major Assessments (50%): Projects, final artwork, and written assignments
Minor Assessments (25%): Sketchbook/thumbnail sketches, classwork, homework
Class Participation (25%): Listening, classroom interaction, attitude, behavior, and preparedness


Materials Reminder

Sketchbook (8.5x11, 50+ pages, blank pages - no lines)
Portfolio Case (20x14)

The above can be purchased in school book store on the 2nd floor or at any craft store such as Michaels, AC Moore. Portfolio case must remain in class. Sketchbook must be with you each day. You have the option to store your sketchbook in your portfolio case, keeping in the classroom each day.


Laptop Reminder
It's important you bring your laptop to class each day. You'll need to research subject matter, ideas and concepts for some of your projects.
