Italian 3 Honors

Week of March 15, 2010

For Thursday:

We are working toward developing "mini-lessons" that each of you will present around themed vocabulary sets.  You have already identified your vocabulary words and created atleast 1 assignment (wordsearch or crossword). 

Today's tasks:

• Develop an in-class instructional activity or game that you will use to reinforce the first 10 words in your vocabulary set (examples: go fish, battleship, memory, etc).   Plan this activity to take about 10 minutes.  You should prepare all the necessary materials for your activity.

• Homework:  For Friday, bring in items that represent the first 10 items you chose for your presentation.  For example, if your presentation includes "orso" and "gatto", you may wish to bring in a stuffed animal bear and cat.  If your words are "telefonino" or "mela" you may wish to bring in an old cell phone or a plastic apple.  Try to bring in items that are as life-like to the actual vocabulary term as possible.

• Bring to class on Friday:
• Your activity with all required materials included
• The 10 items to represent the first 10 vocabulary words you wish to present.
