Dear parents, Welcome to Lee Road for the 2011-2012 school year.   I look forward to working with your children this year. Emphasis will be placed on techniques for students to be successful in a regular educational setting for as many classes as that individual can handle. Constant monitoring of academic and behavioral concerns will be availiable through a MAE DAILY BEHAVIOR CHECKLIST which should be signed and returned daily.Technological tools will be available in both regular and Sp. Ed. settingsThese include but are not limited to the INTERNET, Promethian systems , word processors,and graphing calculators.  Please feel free to contact me with any concerns you may have about your child's progress.    The emphesis of the MAE program is to develop the students ability to function in the regular educational class setting.Students are taught replacement behaviors for individual concerns each of them face. We follow regular educational goals and work closely with teachers using grade level lesson plans to facilitate smooth transition into regular education classes as soon as students are ready.
