May 24, 2012 Science 6: Students learned about the moon phases and looked up their birthdays from 2011, 2012 and 2013 to what phase each year was in. We started to graph 2011 today. Homework: None. Science 7: No class today. Homework: Finish frog dissection lab packet if you were in play. Take home test is due Tuesday, May 29, in homeroom before Olympic Day starts. Science 8-1: Students performed a lab investigating fake coins using a magnet to sort; they also saw that not just magnets had magnetic fields--electricity does also. Homework: None. Science 8-2: No class today. Homework: None. Geometry: Students took the final. Homework: Read pages 664-665, do Quick check #4,5; read pages 670-71, try Quick check #1,2 and do #1-8 on page 673. Honors Pre-algebra: Students learned about polynomials, how to simplify and add them using algebra tiles. Homework: P 12-8 Robotics: Done for the year!!
