Class Expectations
In order to be successful there must be rules and procedures put in place and enforced. I hope that you adhere to these to ensure a peaceful learning atmosphere and you can benefit from it to the fullest.
1. Please be on time. When you are late you miss knowledge that you must get from somewhere else. If you are late you must have a pass from a teacher to admit you to the classroom. Otherwise, you will have a consequence.
2. Get seated and prepared to work. All pencils should be sharpened and your materials should be out on your desk. We do not have time for you to sharpen your pencils so have them already sharpened before you come to class.
3. When you have any extra time it is NOT to be used as a social hour. You may check over your work or begin another assignment if applicable. Under NO circumstances should you talk, make noise, or get out of your seat.
4. Please raise your hand and wait to be called on if you need to talk to me. Otherwise, do NOT talk.
5. When we are in the hallway you are to stay in a single file line and keep quiet. There are classes in progress that we should not disturb. Please respect their learning time.
6. Absolutely NO candy, drink, gum or food allowed in the classroom.
7. Please do not come to the teacher area located at the front of the classroom. There is nothing there for you.
8. Do not bring a cellular phone to class.
9. Follow all rules in your Rothschild 2009-2010 Handbook.
