     The mission of the Family & Consumer Sciences program is to empower students to effectively manage emerging life issues by applying skills, analyzing options and strengthening interpersonal competencies.  Family and Consumer Science applies academic learning to hands-on application.  It provides opportunities for the students to develop skills, attitudes and behaviors needed for success in their personal, family and future work life.
