Welcome to Mrs. Morrison's 3rd Grade Class Fun Fact: A pencil can write 45,000 words or draw a line that is 35 miles long  This website was created to keep you informed on what is happening in our classroom. Enjoy your visit. "A person's a person no matter how small." Dr. Suess  My name is Angie Morrison. I grew up in Western Kentucky in a town called Bowling Green - home of the Corvette. I graduated with a BS in Elementary Education from Western Kentucky University. I have been married for 11 years and have 3 beautiful children. I am enjoying the duel role of both a parent and a teacher. I have a child in third grade and one in 1st. I also have a 4 year old preschooler. I am a new addition to the Hurley Elementary family. I love it here and look forward to watching your child grow! I love being a teacher and love 3rd graders! "Children learn by doing, and play is their work." unknown 3rd grade is a very busy year. We will learn cursive handwriting, multiplication, measurement, and much, much more! We will also be preparing all year for the EOG's. I look forward to taking your child on this journey and in aiding him/her in growing academically and socially. We need your help too! Please help your child with his/her homework nightly. Also make sure your child reads his/her take-home reading 30 minutes daily. Please be sure to visit us, we love visitors. I would love to hear from you.
