Week of September 22, 2008

Ag Science 1: Soil Science:  The students will be able to identify and implement soil conservation practices in slowing the land erosion process.  Students will also utilize a farm conservation plan using their own property and soil type found in a soil survey.


Ag Science 2: Soil Science:  The students will be able to identify and implement soil conservation practices in slowing the land erosion process.  Students will also utlize a farm conservation plan using their own property and soil type found in a Huron County Soil Survey.

Ag Business 1 & 2: Ag Business:  Creating a positive public image.  The students will be able to identify key concepts in creating a positive public image.  Using our FFA Chapter and the activities and events that we participate in, the students will be doing a compare and contrast to how we are perceived as opposed to the FFA Chapters in our surrounding area.  From this, the students will be able to assess different strategies and implement ideas for positive promotion.

Ag Options:  The students are working toward compiling articles and pictures in order to print our next addition of the Western Reserve FFA Corner Notes newsletter.  Deadline for Corner Notes to be sent to FFA families:  Sept. 25th.
