OUR SPECIALS SCHEDULE: ![]() Friendly Reminders!! A booster vaccine (Tdap) is now required before entry into middle school. Call the school nurse (Wanda Myers, RN) for questions. (704)213-4538 Please be aware that in the event that we lose any more school days due to weather, the plan will be to make up the day on the Saturday of that same week, if weather permits. The day will run as follows: Start: Normal time for staff and students Transportation: Normal Food: Breakfast is available, but no lunch will be provided. Dismissal: 3 hours earlier (11:20am) Please remember to check the lost and found in the cafeteria. We have a lot of beautiful, warm coats piling up! If your child needs any kind of medicine during the day, please make sure to stop by the front office to drop it off. You may not just send it to school with your child. It must be taken to the office by the parent or guardian and have the proper paperwork filled out. Thanks! ![]() Waterworks Visual Art Center Salisbury, NC March 24, 2010 Time: 9:30 - 12:00pm North Carolina Symphony Keppel Auditorium, Catawba College (Salisbury, NC) April 16, 2010 Students will be given the cultural experience to attend the symphony and understand what is involved in music composition and performance, and relating to the audience. Waterworks Visual Arts Center Salisbury, NC Date TBA Students will be given the opportunity to see diversity in art. The one-hour visit includes a tour of the center as well as a hands-on art experience in the "Art Shop". Duke Energy Salisbury, NC Date TBA (Spring-time) Students will have a fun filled day of outdoor activities learning about our local ecosystems. This will be at the Duke Energy plant. LONG jeans are required to protect the children's legs. ![]() |
