We started a new topic in reading.  It’s called, “A World of Animals.”   We will learn about many different animals and their habitats.
  In math we started learning about addition.

Important Dates
May 31 - Memorial Day - No school
June 3 - “Beach day in Kindergarten”
We will spend our day doing activities that remind us of a beach trip.  NO swim suits allowed but hats and sunglasses are OK.
June 4 - Kidsports  This trip is a reward for reading all year.  We do not take parents due to limited space.  Students must wear tennis shoes and socks.

June 9 - Field Day  You are welcome to join us for this event.  It will start about 8:30 and end around 11:30.  We will be outside most of the day so remember to put sunscreen on your child before he/she comes to school.  Your child may go home with you when the field day activities are completed.

June 10 - Last day of school! Kindergarten will have a special program in the multipurpose room at 8:30.  You are welcome to attend this event also.  Your child may go home after this program.
