WELCOME TO MISS BAKER'S SPANISH WEB PAGE

     All students have begun new topics of study this week.  Spanish I students are working on learning the food vocabulary and we will be participating in many fun activities such as making menus, restaurant skits, and more.  Our lesson will culminate with a trip to the Career and Tech center later this month for a food tasting with the Culinary Department. 

     Spanish III students are discussing the influence of media on our population, especially children.  We will be having a debate in Spanish in a couple of weeks to demonstrate our speaking skills!!

     Students in all classes will be having oral exams within the next two weeks.  Once your child receives the questions for the exam please encourage them to prepare for this important alternative assessment. 

     All students are encouraged to come for extra help when necessary.  I am available everyday after school, except for the first two Mondays of each month.  If you start to feel lost, taking care of the issue right away can clear up confusion and put you back on track.
