Career Management

Week 2 

Students will participate in some challenging teamwork problem solving competitive activities. Throughout the semester students will have the opportunity to work with different classmates in various situations. Students must understand the importance of cooperating with others that may have different ideals, opinions & lifestyles just as it is in the world of work.

 Students will continue assessments this week to help match their interests and abilities to potential careers. Assessments will include:

  • Learning Styles & Multiple Intelligence -different ways in which people naturally think and learn
  • SCANS Skills - learned abilities to perform tasks or duties in various occupations
  • Vocabulary Aptitude Test
  • Math Aptitude Test
  • IQ Test - Unofficial Computer Driven Test

 Students will learn the importance of the learning styles, skills and aptitudes in suggesting potential future careers.
