Classroom Behavior Plan for my Science:

I have a class roster where I am documenting behavior for each child. After I have given a verbal warning, if a student breaks a rule I will place a tally mark next to his name. Here are the following rules that I would like to see followed in Science:

Rules:

• Work cooperatively in a group setting during hands-on activities.
• use materials properly.
• Listen silently when the teacher is talking.
• Obtain permission to speak or leave the classroom.

1. 1 tally mark=warning.
2. 2 tally marks results in parent notification via email, a note, or a phone call.
3. 3 tally marks will result in a lunch detention.
   

**There are many students who are coming to class unprepared. Please check with your child to make sure they have paper, pencils, erasers, etc.

Policies:

Homework and participation grades count as 50% of the total grade at the end of the nine weeks. Tests and projects will count for the other 50%. You should all have gotten a notification from the school in the mail on how to log into STI to check your child's grades online.
